Just over 2 weeks until I get my next students loan payment, first thing I’m going to buy is perhaps one of the most important things I’ll ever buy. Although it won’t come into the possession of it’s intended owner for some time, I just can’t wait to have it. Knowing that it will be preceded by the most exciting and nerve wrecking hours of my life, I have it all planned in my head and it’s my task to make it a reality; for which I will try my best.
Not posted one of these in ages, been so busy with university and travelling but I’m just having one of those days when I want to write! Whether anyone actually reads these or not is up to them but I shall write anyway.
Distance is, as I’m sure a lot of people know, one of the most annoying things ever! Those who live in the same town or city as their other half should count their blessings! 4 Miles was too far for me, especially with no public transport links what so ever. But now Amy is at university, so that 4 miles has turned into ~100 miles and although it’s not the other side of the world it’s still a long way! I see all these couples who spend every day with each other, and then complain if they don’t see them for a day or two. I have to wait at least a week each time around, although two weeks this time which is the longest we’ve not seen each other. One thing distance does do, is makes you value the time you spend together even more, miss each other more but also cope with it a lot better. Although I don’t get around to writing as many love letters as I had envisioned I do try and send them when I can and I like the thought of her getting unexpected letters just to brighten up her day.
I feel that sometimes people who see each other all the time take each others time for granted, but I do envy those who get to wake up next to the one they care about each day. I’ve been looking forward to that day, since the day we met and as of about 2 weeks ago I started saving for our first apartment (I prefer it to flat because it just sounds better) together, along with that I’ve pretty much decided on the engagement ring I’ll be getting and the date in which I’ll have it by, although I won’t be proposing for some time yet, I just want to have it ready for when my grand plans come together. I just can’t wait to see her beautiful face again, only 5 more days.
It may have only been a day since she moved but I honestly miss my best friend more than anything, realising that all the things I normally do with her I can’t do as often or even just see her as often as I’d like. Honestly can’t wait for my birthday, driving down to Cambridge to see her then we get to see The Maine together again at the end of the month!

Dedicating my 10,000th post to Amy, because she’s amazing and I’m going to miss her so much this time next week.
Casually just looking for a engagement ring for Amy, now some of you will be like oh my god it’s too soon etc. etc. I’m not buying it just yet, hopefully by the end of the year when I have enough money, I’m not buying it to use it immediately but instead to have it ready for the perfect time as there’s going to be a lot of planning ahead and a lot of searching to find the ring that matches her.
